Sometimes, life forces us to step away from the things we love. For me, that meant putting my camera down for a few years as I navigated personal loss and change.

During this time, I lost both my father and my sister—two people who shaped my world in ways I’m still coming to understand. Their passing left me searching for meaning, and for a while, photography no longer felt like the creative escape it once was.

But creativity has a way of resurfacing, even when we think we’ve left it behind. During my break from photography, I continued to explore other artistic pursuits—producing music, video editing, 3D animation, and graphic design. I threw myself into new creative challenges, learning fresh skills and broadening my understanding of storytelling through different mediums. Each new interest added something valuable to my artistic toolkit, but nothing quite replaced the connection I felt when looking through a lens.

Through it all, the passion for photography never left me; it just lay dormant, waiting for the right time to reignite. And now, as I pick up my camera once again, I find myself viewing my craft with fresh eyes. The time away gave me perspective—it reminded me that photography is more than just a job or a creative outlet. It’s a way of seeing, a means of capturing moments, and a tool for storytelling that speaks louder than words.

Stepping back into the industry after a period of absence comes with its challenges. The world of photography is always evolving, and I’ve made a conscious effort to keep up with trends, new technologies, and emerging styles. But at its core, the essence of great photography remains unchanged—light, emotion, and a moment frozen in time. That’s what I strive to capture and what excites me about returning to my craft.

This journey back to photography is about more than just picking up where I left off. It’s about rediscovering my purpose, channelling the lessons I’ve learned, and creating work that feels authentic to who I am today. I’m excited about this new chapter, and I hope you’ll join me for the ride.
